Contains SPOILERS read at your own risk 220https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/856563801192136745/856587131337310238/unknown.png This melting pot of story beats character personalities worldbuilding conflict and just sheer color is so much fun. Too much fun in fact. I am anxiously waiting for the next chapter with bated breath. My only qualms are that the places to access this story are what I would call hardly accessible but honestly thats hardly the fault of the story and more about the market around it. The main character Letitia is clever and outgoing. I love her determination and drive she is the glue holding all of the story aspects together. The experience is fantastic watching her every interaction and clever thought. I would heartily recommend reading this manhwa for her creativity alone especially as she basically invents Bitcoin in the fantasy setting to get one up on the Devil of Wealth. Her romance with Erden her male counterpart is one that I think about when reading other manga and manhwa. Hes an interesting paradox of no selfrespect and extreme respect for Letitia that has him following along in her schemes in ways that are...well not unprecedented in storytelling but are REFRESHING to the core to read and absorb. And unlike similar conflicts in romance stories it never seems tired or out of left field: all the puzzle pieces are there to understand why Erden himself is Like This and why he treats and interacts with Letitia this way while never really communicating his anxieties. Hes a character built out of the Female Gaze and its quite frankly revivifying. I wouldnt say there are any specific Off aspects of this manhwa to warn anyone of. Theres the Threat of oh underaged protagonist gets married to someone significantly older than her that is dispelled very quickly thank Gods. The familial narcissistic abuse that Letitia lives with is short but extremely exposing and sets her up for you to understand her later anxieties rather than being used at this point the manhwa is still ongoing as narcissistic abuse apologia that is growing more common in other media. Violence is typical for the genre and theres not a lot of blood? I cant remember any personally. More or less I wrote this as my first review of anything on Anilist to really recommend this story to anyone feeling really bored of fantasy tropes and the genre overall. My Secretly Hot Husband really embraces and breaks free from many genre hangups and is just a stupidly fun read. I wish I had more friends that read manhwa or just read stuff in general because I would be pounding at their doors to read this. I would fullheartedly with no smoke start a book club just to read and discuss different aspects of this story.
