I wont get into summarizing the story to not spoil anything so you can safely read this review before reading Ring My Bell without getting spoiled. First off the art for this is very vibrant. Its a fully coloured webcomic and theres obviously a lot of love been poured into it. Each character looks alive with distinct expressions and its fair share of ugly funny faces and as any romance webcomic/manga etc. should sad/happy/crying faces that make you go aww or smile at your screen like a dumb idiot. As far as length goes each chapter is pretty decent in length. 62 chapters may not seem like much but its a few hours worth of binge. The premise of this webcomic is actually quite interesting. I started reading it on a whim and the first chapter already had me intrigued. If youre still on the fence about giving this webcomic a shot I can definitely reocmmend just checking out the first chapter and seeing for yourself if its something you might find interesting. With the good out of the way lets get to the bad. While the pacing is quite good for the first season of this webcomic in case you didnt know this webcomic does in fact have two seasons the second season does unfortunately not fare quite as well in that regard. The plot in the second season is also just not as strong as in the first one. If I remember correctly a second season for this was not planned initially and it really shows. It turns from nice story with interesting premise into decent story that doesnt really have anything to stand out. This makes the second season feel pretty bland in comparison. At least theres a nice subplot to keep you entertained during that time but thats really about it. That being said all in all I still think its a worthwile read being one of the higher quality webcomics out there especially if youre interested in GL. This webcomic isnt really all that hard on drama so if overbearing drama or tragedy even is something that bothers you you dont have to worry about it for this one. The comedy bits are quite funny and even with its second season dragging down my final opinion on this by a tad I still liked this overall. As for a rating I personally think just a score is completely arbitrary and tells a reader nothing about how good something actually is but since Im made to give a score Ill try to determine that score mainly based on the following: What is the goal of this webcomic/manga/manhwa/manhua? Premise but also other plotpoints that are brought up Was this goal fulfilled? How well was this goal fulfilled? This also leads into the TLDR: A rather interesting premise in the first season that is executed very nicely second season not quite as interesting but also not that well executed. Extra plotpoints that are brought during the story are handled very nicely throughout though the comedy bits are also all quite fun. It feels just a tad bland thanks to the second season which is why my overall final rating will be a solid 80/100 based on the criteria mentioned above.
