Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is another one way Araki can use his creativity as a form of freedom. A Small Essay. Some Spoilers Ahead Small Tangent Of Insight: Rohan Kishibe if you dont know is a character created by Araki as a character who is a mangaka starring in Jojos Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable. Rohan has a stand known as Heavens Door where he can willingly open a persons body like a book write and read about their lifes story. If you havent seen Jojos Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable please read or watch it before moving forward with this review or even reading the manga entirely. Now Onto The Actual Review: Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe is a collection of OneShots / short stories written by Araki that starred the main character as Rohan from Diamond Is Unbreakable as well him being a mangaka and going on his own solo adventures. Rohan is seeking more about the supernatural and is trying to find stories to write in his own manga known as Pink Dark Boy. Rohan is shown to be a character that strives realism in his storywriting where he tries to make everything connect with the reader and goes 100 for whatever he is trying to write into his series and this brings him onto a series of living a notsonormal life. For instance there is a story of a mountain of rich people with good fortune where they live a good life as long as they have good manners but the rules are forced strictly to where you wont be welcomed again if you break some of the rules. Rohan goes trying to pursue what they are experiencing in hopes of good fortune now I wont spoil anything but things unfold. This is just one of many examples that show what Araki can do with his writing Araki bases his writing off of reallife places trying to strive for realism on the places he goes to such as him heading to Italy while before he wrote Jojos Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and using the places he went to as places to write his characters in for plot. Rohan is a similar character to him so it makes it easier to place him in other weird / wacky situations. To continue on that claim there is a woman in a Japanese home who accidentally kills a gardener she was having an affair with and blood kept seeping out the back of his head no matter what he did she had to cover up the body and still gets jars to collect the blood. The amount of tension and mysteriousness written within this story is just proof that Araki could use his creativity and bend his story the way he sees fit. Please do read Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan and there is so much that could be said about this compilation of short stories that could be mentioned. Araki can write his stories in so much different unique ways that bring his characters not only to life from their bizarre nature but also bring other creative ideas to people that might not have thought about these things at all ever. This is a compilation of stories so dont worry about an order since they arent linked together.
