Hatena Illusion was just one of those jokes with a friend and so I started watching it with him and ended it in 2 days. And between jokes and I was able somehow to enjoy it. I have some praises for this anime and many things to be angry at because it has major flaws like Englands soccer history. Story could be better Story was decent a lo confusional tho as the first episodes were really bad compared to the rest of the anime. I just found confusing the start maybe because of Hatenas behaviour and not really interesting since the start as I was thinking about dropping it on the 4th episode not gonna say that i was glad to not do it anyway. The center story of the anime was nice to see I was able to see an actual development of the character Emma episode the best one no cap and I genuinely smiled sometimes. Though it wasnt enough to make me say that I purely enjoyed the story too many flaws too many problems so much confusion with Mariah and the biggest lack of all was the Mother of Hatena who was missing for the whole anime and at the beginning of it she was hyped up so much. The ending was meh to be honest felt a little rushed. Not gonna say much but Maeves mom hella hot. Emma is clearly the best girl Big letdown. The characters were hella boring and not interesting at all. Hatena was just the classic dumb girl Makoto a real pussy Yumemi the classic loli made for weirdos Mariah idk what she was doing as she was switching between killing everyone to defending them. Big praise tho for only ONE character that was able to literally carry this anime from the no where : Emma. Emma by far was the most interesting character and her episode was able to hit my hard and different such a well built character with a dramatic backstory and with an hidden meaning was just left as a side character come on now.
