My Thoughts on Tamako Love Story Redone This is basically a redo of my old review on Tamako Love Story. That old review is gone now. Why? Well I really thought that I could do more better with that as I didnt really like how the old one went. There was also this one feedback in which this person describe that review as more of an analysis rather than a review and I agree with that. When I did my review on The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya I thought about wanting to put more thought on what I wanna say about this certain show and it continued on as I did more reviews. And now I wanna give the movie I love the most a more better review. After watching this for the 7th time allow me to go ahead and share to you my thoughts on Tamako Love Story. This redo of a review is quite short as I only share a small amount of spoiler minor and major so this could be a 30 minute read Short Overview Love Story would take place after Market where Tamako is now a 3rd year High School Student and shes having concerns about pulling off a stunning baton performance at the Usagiyama Marching Festival. At the same time she starts to notice that her friends have actually started thinking about their future. For her she wants to take over the family restaurant. On another hand Mochizou intends to study at a University in Tokyo. Not only would he have to say farewell to his friends and family but it would also mean saying farewell to Tamako his childhood friend and the person he loves. Because of that he intends to confess to her before leaving to study in Tokyo. Story I really like this story. Its simple sure. But at the same time its heartwarming. Its simple storytelling like this that it makes it unique in its own way. Tamako going though a new phase in her life that she has never gone through before Mochizou manning up and finally confessing to the cute mochi maker we all know and love. On that note... Characters Specifically in Tamakos case. As I said before Its her going through a new phase in her life that she has never gone through before. That phase being shyness and sadness. She would start to be shy whenever she would see Mochizou from time to time and even cant bring herself to talk to him. Not knowing what to say. Then shed start getting sad when Mochizou asked her to pretend to forget about what happened at the lake. Not telling you at what point thats for you to find out for yourself All while she really hasnt found a response to him. And as the movie reaches the end she would find a response to him. This is only some of the few things that I like about her characterization. I have more but thats all Ill share. The rest also do play an important part as well. Ill just leave it for you to go and discover it. Visuals I dont really need to repeat myself as its KyoAni were talking about here and we already know how amazing they pull off the visuals. Scenes that are really beautiful to look at and its easy screenshot material. Needless to say there is zero need to talk about them. Just simply put it its fantastic. Overall Statement Yall really know how much I feel about this movie. Theres no hiding it. I just love it a whole lot. I counted 7 times that I watched this movie. Each and every one of those times the perspective never changed. A beautiful and heartwarming love story. Thats how I always saw it. And I know for a damn fact that Ill come back to it and add the count. When will the 8th rewatch be? Idk this depends on me. If you wanna go ahead and watch the movie for yourself go ahead. I recommend going into Market first though as that anime has some details that the movie will feature.
