WHILE IT CEASES BEING A BULLYING MANGA RATHER QUICKLY IT STILL IS JUST RIFE WITH A HUGE AMOUNT OF NUDITY AND GORE. OH AND THERES A FLASHBACK SCENE SHOWING THE CHARACTER AS A CHILD... LETS JUST SAY IT ALMOST GOES OVER A LINE WHERE I WOULD HAVE STOPPED READING IF IT HAD PROGRESSED ANY FURTHER. BUT EVEN THEN ITS STILL PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLY FUCKED UP THINGS IVE WITNESSED IN A MANGA. She backhanded her crying child for attempting to seduce her man and then beat her several times. And then Himenos mom did her a real good favor by taking the iron to her face to get some of those pesky wrinkles. If youre a frequent reader of my reviews you know Im not a normal and sane person so I kept going. So because she ate that wasp earlier she herself grows a stinger. The moment she stings her former tormentors... her mom starts acting like a mom again after years of abuse her bullies become her friends. He interprets the fact that shes not getting bullied anymore is because her bullies are forcing her to prostitute herself after school and give them the money and thus theyre finally leaving her alone. This is already a real bad misunderstanding and the only appropriate response to come from an adult is me and the other adults are gonna help you and put a stop to this situation if thats whats really going on here. If it isnt great. If it is thats not okay and should be stopped immediately. Instead hes like alright how much? Lets do this right here. That theyre real manga that real people created and I didnt just have a seizure at my desk. No okay so she did have her mom iron her face so her homeroom teacher did just try and immediately have sex with her after jumping to the absolutely wrong conclusion about her situation... Basically this makes Himeno flashback once more to when she was almost raped as a child and is just rightfully like FUCK THIS and stings this man to get him to stop. Unfortunately her stingers charm effect doesnt work on males so he starts freaking the fuck out. And in doing so she basically makes a whole bunch of the female students who were questioned about her and the strange wasp into her soldiers so they would go back on what they told the police. But then the police return and they storm in and light the place up. Its not really her fault that she was forced to eat a weird wasp that gave her the power to dominate all other females but she immediately began to abuse this power. Killing the homeroom teacher okay yeah sure he was scummy and also saw her stinger which would have led to her probably getting dissected or worse... But then stinging a huge amount of the female students of the school because she both wanted to make this whole murder situation go away and also didnt want to risk her few new gained friends in any way... And then pretty much all of them get brutally gunned down as they attempt to take down the antiwasp task force that was dispatched to capture the Queen. Honestly this would have annoyed the absolute shit out of me in pretty much any other manga but honestly I almost want to applaud at how little of a shit this mangas creators gave. Instead the creators decided they had more material and it just fucking flew right off the deep end. A whole new series begins with the introduction of the best character a girl who is allergic to kindness and will start vomiting horribly if she even sees someone being kind to someone else. And Mizu wants to fucking murder her. Because all of a sudden her horribly abusive mom who told a younger Mizu to her face that the only reason why she didnt have her aborted was a whim suddenly made her a birthday cake. The sudden change in personality was actually because Mizus mom was one of many who Himeno stung and thus made into a soldier. 440https://i.ur.com/I2Pxa18.png Oh my mom whos been horrible to me my whole life resulting in me being literally allergic to kindness has suddenly became a completely different person because some monster girl decided to make her own nation. And then after Mizus assassination attempt on Himeno fails thats when this other wasp queen shows up and the rest of the manga is basically Himenos conflict with this other queen because there can only be one queen after all. And there are just so many batshit twists and turns and there are genuinely cool moments but it also becomes so unbelievably dumb. She also gets violently whipped a whole bunch. I truly cannot recall the last time Ive been so invested in a manga of this... sort while still actively being positively entertained. While its simultaneously deserving of a considerably lower score Im just unironically going to give it a 99 out of 100 and call it a day.
