Coming into it I was excited. After all this was made by the same creators as some of my favorite shows of all time Death Note and Bakuman and I was not disappointed. This was one of the greatest shows I have ever seen and it will be the same for you. Story 10/10 The plot is amazing. No it is perfect. Every ep had so much development and you were constantly hit with twists making you await what could come next. Honestly whenever Mirai had to make decisions it always left me sweating wondering what he would do. The villains in this show are also absolutely amazing. They are all developed greatly and have so much impact on the main cast. Metropoliman had so much impact even I started fearing if he would come for me in real life. The ending especially was jaw dropping. I could have never fathomed such an ending. Honestly please check it out yourself the greatness of this plot cannot be described with words. Characters 10/10 The characters are what really carry the show. Every character is completely unique and changes so much over the course of the show. Honestly I LOVE THEM. They are so well developed that it feels like I know them IRL. Because of this the deaths had a profound amount of impact. Honestly I was left weeping days after I watched the ep every week. Animation 10/10 The animation is just... GODLIKE. Every motion feels so fluid and the fight scenes..... dude fate and demon slayer have nothing on this show. The fight scenes in this show were definitely the greatest I have ever seen. Music 10/10 PERFECTION. I listen to the track for 2 hours every day when commuting on the train. Not only are the ops and the eds just absolute jammers that you can listen to all the time but the OST itself is astonishing. Even the most apathetic individuals will be moved to tears just by the background music alone. Honestly this is peak anime content. Throughout 24 eps this show leaves you at the edge of your seat wondering who is going to come out on top. Will it be our main characters in their hopes of just finding happiness or what seems to be a psychopathic manic but is one of the most complex and thought out characters in anime history? To be quite blunt this show had me questioning reality itself constantly making me rethink what I believed was empathy philosophy and the meaning of life itself. But even with the heavy tone of the series it still constantly mangers to humor me and is undoubtedly one of the best comedies of the decade. Honestly I dont know where I would be in my life without this show it is just a masterpiece. Oh oops. It seems like my nine key just broke and I cant add another one. What a shame.
