I found this by chance and started reading it because I like the yandere trope. And at the first few chapters I got just what was expected a crazy obsessed main heroine. She is a very rich college student who is for some reason obsessed with the MC a bland officer worker whose only character trait is being kind and naive. 220https://i.yt.com/vi/3vu14RXX8lo/maxresdefault.jpg And that was fine you know I wasnt really expecting to read some deep story just a short ok romcom. So even if the MC was a completely blank human it was fine if the yandere shenanigans were fun. But the manga got completely frustating pretty quick for a very simple reason: every single human being in the world except the yandere is a cunt to the MC for absolutely no reason. His boss sucks his friends dont help him at all his little sister treats him like shit even a coworker he tried to help from harassment decided to mistreat him. Really the only person who actually shows any affection to him other than the lunatic is probably just his mom. And all of that would still not be so bad if he actually stood up for himself even once during the whole manga. He absolutely accepts everything negative thrown at him never talks back and even accepts any horrible thing said to him as the pure truth. While people with some terribly low self steem like that do exist this man has the patience of a saint. After having suffered things that would make any regular human being get enraged not only he doesnt react at all he even gets worried about his tormentor. The peak was when Of course in all these times the yandere appears later and gets revenge on whoever hurt him. Which made it fine in the first or second time but the manga literally enters into a cycle of: a new character appears the character torments MC for no reason yandere gets revenge a new character appears ... And all of this happen in such a way that you even start to think god his life sucks so much maybe he should just bang this complete lunatic already even if she would probably cut off his legs and put him in a cage at some point. And that fucked up way of thinking seems to be what the author wants to do. The society in this manga doesnt suck as some type of social criticism it sucks just to make the yandere look like the best option. So tldr the premise is a regular yandere romcom but instead of doing anything interesting or funny with it the author decides to repeatetly make the MC suffer from literally everyone around him just so the yandere could get revenge later and that gets specially frustating as the MC just accepts all the bullying and violence like a patient catholic saint and then shows genuine worry and compassion towards these who hurt him for no reason. In the end I started to think maybe the crazy obsessive manipulative dirty and selfish main heroine was probably a more well adjusted human being than the protagonist at that point.
