When I started watching season 1 logically I didnt pay attention to the very last OVA since I didnt know anything about the universe but after I got past the Ippo vs Mashiba fight it started to go to my brain waiting for Kimura the comic relief is going to face this monster? whatever it is and I quickly developed an extremely satisfied curiosity once I finally got to watch it. Because Kimura is the protagonist of this arc and if Ive made a lot of fun of him and Aoki because of all their negative IQ moment but beyond having made me laugh I have a lot of affection for them and this is the first big decision but the best one to take: the movie is not funny well if there are funny moments so dear to Morikawa especially at the end of the movie or during some intervention of Takamura but what I want to say is that the movie and consequently the arc Execution is what we had more serious until now Kimura shines during all the film that it is before the match and especially during the match. Before the match we see him doubting and literally taking it out on himself because once again this split between the professional and daily life of the characters plunges the viewer into a certain case of dramatic irony we know that Mashiba is a banal human but Kimura who only knows him through boxing sees him as a sadistic and merciless reaper Even Aoki is so desperate that he doesnt even want Kimura to win but to enter the ring with the best possible chance and I remind you that until now Aoki and Kimura were the monkeys who generated 80 of the jokes and see them acting seriously and being treated in a serious way is perfect and offers a new dimension to his characters. Then comes the fight and the projector that illuminates Kimura increases the kilowatts of the bulb so that we only see him I always praised the intensity and the investment in which the fight of the anime plunged us but the one we reach summits we are on the level Saint Seiya of I cash in I get up to reencash and I get up to the point that the adversary sees the end of it and it is really what happens Kimura it gets up so many times that Mashiba this shits on Its NEKKETSU at this point its just incredible to live because obviously when you have Madhouse at the helm with its impact of blow that will vibrate the frame and deliver smoke and the idea of realization like el famoso green glow in the eye you dont know what to ask for more because there is already everything to offer a moment of anthology with a good god of conclusion. And it is in these moments that I love the world of manga and japanimation for this kind of moment superbly done and that gives you shots of adrenaline to make you hyperactive while youre just sitting in front of your computer and reliable sources aka friends on discord who are up to date on the manga season 2 and 3 reserve even better I look forward.
