Lookism is one of if not the greatest action mangas/manhwas. There are several reasons as to why I found this to be the case. Some of the scenes in this manhwa I would say rivals the fight scenes in Baki despite being an avid fan of both. I cant lie when I say Im still thoroughly disappointed that Lookism and its close brother Viral Hit are rated so low in all time popularity and rating. Then again its understandable as it being a Korean webtoon. To his surprise he is blessed with a second body. A rather handsome body. The story covers several themes of bullying struggle love and much more. With his second body he garners the attention of those around him like never before. The story really to my perspective never seen before discusses the problem of appearances and judgement in a way that is different and unique. Daniel discovers that though his personality hasnt shifted in the slightest he is treated significantly better than he was in his other body. What Im really trying to say here is that there is real plot. Real character progression real meaning to the story and not in a cheesy way rather a tasteful way. Sooner or later Daniel understands he must be stronger to protect his friends and family. To which we see some of the most chilling scenes. Let it be known that every thing the author does is for a meaning the direction of the story is well crafted and every character you will fall in love with. There are no tropes that you see all the time to my attention. Do not get me wrong. I too love to support creators of my favorite mangas who dedicated soo much of their lives to bring this entertainment to us. However it is simply an undeniable fact that for 90 of manga the bridge to pay and buy that manga to read is simply too much when it comes down to the many volumes. That being said it is clearly no secret that you could find any mainstream manga for free on the internet somewhere in colored but I would like to make it clear that as Lookism is a webtoon it is completely free. The system that is created to support the author is marvelous. You can support this author buy buying the most recent chapters of his manga. To clarify all chapters are available and released every week on Tuesday but are 13 chapters behind the up to date releases. So not only are you not putting your money into an endless pit if you are an avid reader like myself you get something in return to fill your thirst of entertainment.
