Rita Repulsa and the Red Rangers illicit romance is filled with fluff adorable moments humorous character exchanges and amazing chemistry. You will undoubtedly receive your moneys worth from this series if you include a catchy OP. The main cause of conflict in the story stems from the covert relationship between Desumi Rita Repulsa and Fudo Red Ranger. The series almost immediately avoids the clich Im a hero I cant get attached to anyone which I found to be a huge breath of fresh air. His leader advises Fudo to stop acting foolish and express his thoughts since just because he is a hero doesnt mean he is not also human as opposed to forbidding him from doing so. Loved that exchange a lot The cast is full with fascinating characters and its enjoyable to see them all. My soul is healed by the primary pair. Desumi is a really realistic and welldone character. You could say that Fudo lacks depth which detracts a little from the tale because hes a dull guy who simply values his physique and Desumi and doesnt have much to cope with. However I dont believe this was a poor decision because in my opinion the focus of the show is Desumi and how her relationship with Fudo has changed her. Fudos lack of personal issues which are all a result of their relationship does not make him the worse option. Although I still believe that they should have given him issues for Desumi to resolve I must admit that I dont believe that was feasible given the number of episodes available. The remaining members of the Gelato 5 are likewise somewhat onedimensional and tend to stick with a single personality feature but as I previously mentioned the show isnt really focused on them so they dont really matter as much. The Princess Series follows which essentially features the remaining teenage females from gekko. The characters in this series are quite endearing to watch and seem very genuine. It was incredibly enjoyable to observe how the show develops the existing princesses while introducing new ones this is not what youd anticipate from an anime that focuses primarily on dumb humour. The primary couples families come last and they appear to accomplish their goals in terms of issues new friends and other things. I cant suggest this series enough if youre looking for something overly sweet with a humorous spin on Super Sentai and Romeo and Juliet. I dont know how popular the show is generally but I think that along with Kongming and Dance Dance Danseur is a seasonlong jewel that shouldnt be missed. I know Im going to bingewatch this series for the next few days after seeing this
