SPOILERS AHEAD Although the plot is cliche the anime tries to be unique by exploring the struggles of adult life and imagining that if you were in your dream university maybe your life would be different. The first episode with a runtime of 50 minutes sets the tone for what we can expect in the later episodes and it did good to give the viewers anticipation for a promising story line as we expect the MC to achieve his dreams after entering his desired university. However there are a lot of plot holes that I am waiting to be answered as I watch the later episodes of the anime but I did not see any of them answered and one of them is how he can time leap and I know it is not the focus of the story but they add a girl with pink hair which further complicates it and adds questions as to who she is supposed to be for the MC? is she a god? why is she helping the MC? did he really deserve the opportunity to go back in time? what the hell? Moving on from the plot holes lets discuss the characterization of the MC. The MC can be inspiring at times due to his actions and we can understand because we the viewers see ourselves in the MC that our lives are boring depressing and other reasons so if only we had the chance to go back in the past and try to do something different or maybe do whatever we want that we think we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. Although the MC tries to look for changes that he wants to make and try to solve other problems that the side characters have and seeing his friends make another path that he thinks will affect their future lives he blames himself because of what is happening and for me personally I dont think he is the person to blame because his friends future has changed because he has only tried to help them and instead it backfired and now he thinks he fucked up the timeline which now brings us to what happened in the future. In the future time leap where he has a family the romance is also done bad as hell like the kiss just happened on a whim but I dont want to talk about that I am just confused as to why he did not get any character development because I really think he should just accept this reality and stop running away and because of that we didnt see any changes in him. He constantly seeks the perfect version of himself desiring to remain with his friends and indulge in an idealized existence. Unfortunately such dreams rarely happen in real life and maybe that is why we have to accept who we are now. I am disappointed because if the anime had delivered a more impactful conclusion it could have been unique and inspiring. Instead it feels like an escape from reality with the protagonist becoming depressed rather than accepting his present circumstances which is understandable because we know you want to do things that you enjoy in your life but with the MC it just feels wrong because he did not try to accept the things he sees and always look back at the past that maybe if he changed something and that is my main problem with the story it lacks the character development that I am looking forward to and as well as with the plot that leads to disappointment. The 12episode run fails to provide the anticipated development and the final episode seems to return to the storys initial point further adding to my disappointment. For me if you have the shittiest start of the anime but somehow try to be creative and stick the landing with burning car wheels and drift your way out that will amaze your viewers leaving them satisfied watching this fucking mess. Unfortunately this anime concludes with a disappointing cliffhanger. If you ever reach this point sorry for wasting your time and thanks as this is my first review and I am really bored today so I want to rant about this anime.
