Moderate spoilers ahead Plot: Ten Serizawa decides to stop taking 2hour trips to school and moves into a boardinghouse thanks to her friend. She starts to make friends with everyone who lives there more specifically with Chiaki and Riku. Story: At first it doesnt seem much just about a girl showing her daytoday experiences in the boarding house. The first half of the series focuses on developing Riku and Tens relationship. Which I think was pretty good at least you didnt have to wait till the last chapter for them to confess their feelings. However the remaining six volumes are where things get saddening. It then focuses on a new objective: ending the ongoing rivalry between Riku and Rei. 220https://s4.anilist.co/file/anilistcdn/character/large/b162420gjbdCZcWM9xD.jpg Ten: Ten is an honest girl who overthinks sometimes but doesnt dance around her feelings. She cares about others feelings and how they may affect the people living in the boarding house. She wants to help Riku and it is shown throughout the story. One weird thing is that she first says that she likes Chiaki but then pulls an uno reverse and goes Never mind I like Riku. Its understandable why she rejected Riku in the first volume because they barely knew each other but I wished we couldve seen more of Tens thoughts and what made her conclude that she liked him. 220https://s4.anilist.co/file/anilistcdn/character/large/b162419CRqxJVW6iWzn.jpg Chiaki: Chiaki is a supporting character in the story. We see him constantly quote things from the books he reads which is quite interesting. Although he appears to be a loner hes really caring. I thought this would be the guy Ten would choose so I was somewhat disappointed. He wanted Ten and Riku to get together. Even when Ten fell in love with Riku and confessed the author didnt just let him fade away. Even when Riku was dealing with so much drama he was still there. 220https://s4.anilist.co/file/anilistcdn/character/large/b162417pPPT5moPMNjR.jpg Riku: Riku is a boy that Ten starts dating. It saddened me when we found out that he had some family drama behind him. Riku had a lot going on leaving him sad and alone. It makes him believe that he doesnt deserve to feel happiness. Of course he doesnt tell anybody this and continues putting on a fake smile to show that everything is ok even when it isnt. His feelings seemed to have come out more when Ten learned about his background and how much she was willing to help him. 220https://s4.anilist.co/file/anilistcdn/character/large/b233107x7HxfuguNzZs.png Rei: Rei is a character that used to get on my nerves when he was first introduced. He was annoying and called Ten ugly when he looked no better than her. Its not only till we find out that hes suffering on the inside. He wants the feud to end despite how much he hates his brother. Cons regarding the characters mentioned above : I dont think there are too many but this series has a few cons. There are instances where its hard to tell who is speaking in certain situations which can confuse the reader. The comedy was alright but it wasnt super funny. Its also hard to tell when youve started a new chapter. The site says there are 67 chapters but it felt like there was half of that. I assumed that each volume had three chapters. Of course that could be my problem lmao. Overall: This manga was alright. It has a few flaws but overall it wasnt terrible. Its currently 4 am where I live and my computer is about to die so I wont write anymore.
