Disclaimer 1 This is my very first review and I will personally try to do my best to highlight all the things that matter in this anime. This is a review about the animated version of the Nostalgia chapter in the Phoenix series penned by none other than the God of manga Osamu Tezuka himself published during the 70s. https://m.mediaamazon.com/images/I/510u00FeBnL.ACUF10001000QL80FMwebp.jpg Our main character Is a young woman named Romi who left Earth to reach Planet Eden 17 along with her boyfriend George and their domestic robot Shiva. Really really soon they find out that this is a deserted planet and they are the only ones there. From here on I would like t recommend you the manga: the story will diverge and skip a lot of events not even revealing a main key plot of the chapter. https://i0.wp.com/anmtv.com.br/wpcontent/uploads/2023/07/phoenix.jpg?resize=7682C384ssl=1 Disclaimer 2 This chapter was rewritten by Tezuka on different times so the events I will talk about come from the most famous version. I give this warning once I will open the Pandoras box of spoiler from the manga so keep calm End of spoilers I really loved the animation and the waiting was well paid. Romi is a strong main character but well... not really in this animation but we see how her Dreams and ideals are strong and how she is human. Tezuka loved to highlight this value: that humans are the evil ones though Romi has a pure heart and she only wants to reach her very true goal in her life. The Phoenix was redesigned and she is not the iconic one that Tezuka created and she got only a few seconds of screen. Remember that the studio had to cut some content because it would have been too over the line for todays standards maybe they liked to follow the older versions of the chapter and they only had four episodes to work on but still I must point out there will be a new movie airing in November. The ending song was very relaxing. I was hoping they would insert a remix of the original Phoenix theme the one going by the lines of You carry us on your silver wings to the far reaches of the universe but its still a beautiful melody that did its job. As a closing note well I hope this animation of Eden 17/Nostalgia will open the Door to the animated version of the Life chapter :. LaFeniceEterna
