So why am I reviewing this instead of the popular series out there that has a large following and fanbase? Because its one of the few shows I have watched that season... nothing special to be honest. The show itself originated from a gachagame called Alice Gear Aegis and sadly to say I have not played the game so while I can give my thoughts on the anime series itself the game aspect for the show is something I wouldnt even try to tackle since it is beyond my capacity as of the moment. The series started with a very surprising twist that its a recruitment arc. While the main protagonist of the series herself only wants to apply as a staff of that office the people who she met in the office convinced her to apply for an actress position instead. Of course it took the protagonist a year to pass it with the help of everyone and it was a barely passing remark due to her having no aptitude whatsoever with the position of an actress. But alas tragedy struck and when she thought she would be living a life of luxury the office filed for bankruptcy and is now restructuring. But from hereon... the show now goes to the direction that nobody has expected... Yes we have gone Slice of Lifeish territory. Every episode after Episode 1 is a slice of life episode that is totally not related to the series at all started showing and while I do have my laughs at some stupid stuff there are also some stuff that I just barely pass by. All in all everything in those episodes are just a way to pass time while building up a narrative at the very end. From episodes 2 to 10 we have witnessed the whole cast fooling around and getting into trouble just to raise money and suddenly on the tenth episode the show has reached a point of no return. Our protagonist who has been sidelined for the next few episodes gets her spotlight here as fell into the hands of an opportunistic villain whose own goal is for her own pleasure. I do not fully understand the stuff that happened here but likewise it was quite serious that at first it felt that I must have been in a dream since this episode is far too remote from the usual shenanigans we saw in the previous episodes. At the end of the day everyone worked hard and the protagonists role model saved her but at the end our protagonist lost her capability to become an actress and has decided to resign from the company she is working with ending the series with a rather bittersweet end for our protagonists work career as an actress. After the show has ended in my mind I have so many questions I want to ask but at the very end I feel like it was all for naught. Our protagonist become someone she did not thought she would become. In the end has lost it due to the events relating to the previous event. I would say that while her job prospect is still bright as she is still young I had a feeling that she would feel guilty about that matter until the very end given that she has troubled everyone around her and all she can do is to practically take responsibility and part ways with everyone who she has become friends and buddies. I wish the show could have given us a scene where the protagonist would cry to the fact that she would be leaving after that... even without knowing how much trouble she has caused everyone at that time. It could have made the scene more genuine to be honest. But in the end everything was lacking... even at the end. What did not lack... despite its fewer occurrence is the action... I must say that the sole action sequence here in this series is pretty good and it pretty much deliver what the series would have become... if they did not go to the Slice of life territory. As a slice of life watcher I enjoyed the first 10 episodes and the last two kind of killed my mood. But it is still good I am just saying that under my biased standpoint if they turned any subtle plot into a corporate espionage save a friend in need type of series... I wouldnt mind if they have prepared more on that backend. In the end this review is now a mess. I do not hate the series but if I had watched a lot of shows during the time it was currently airing I would have given this a lower score but since I am very generous right now in giving scores... I would give this series a 6.5 out of 10. Addendum: The ending theme song for this series is quite a nice song...
