From there we chose to pretend as a solution. We remain the same in the heart but we continue to pretend this and that. The world is a grand stage to perform on as a pretender. Everyone is pretendingpretending to survive pretending to chase dreams pretending for love. Basically everyone is a con artist with different resolutions. The great pretender is just a medium that shows us the true reality of ours. Great Pretender was aired in spring 2020 and Wit Studio made it. The Great Pretender is an original work that was then adapted into a manga. It contains 23 episodes divided into 4 unique cases here the arc is used as a case. Each case has a different voice a different massage and is also enjoyable in different aspects. Los Angeles Connection case 1 The first of the series on illegal drug dealings. Laurent Thierry kind of blackmailed Makoto Edamura and used him as bait to sell the drug as a con artist. I am going to say anything about the story part because it is famous for the unpredictable twists. By the way we can learn about Makoto Edamurawho is he? What is his backstory? And all about everything in brief. A moneyhungry prince is doing an air race with his brother but to earn extra money he is fixing the matches and ruining the sportsmanship. Here Makoto Edamura somehow manages to inflate into being a head mechanic. By the way Abigail Jones was at the center of this case. Throughout this case Abigail Joness past her fear of war or losing her parents and her overcoming But still she is pretending for herself. I think this case is kind of slow or took a lot of time to build up but the ending deserves it. He just sells them for money. But a man came and humiliated him for his work. From there everything did not remain the same. This is directly connected with this case and Cynthia Moore. Her past and present were both shown at the same time. But I didnt have a hard time understanding which is what. Anyway this case is my favorite because of its story character development how they showed us and especially the emotional attachments. This is what human trafficking is. The final case is this disgraceful crime. This case has an episode count higher than any other case. This case covers many things in this runtime: Laurents backstory Edamuras resolve and Oz the wizard. The story and everything else were really good. The 2D visuals are unique and interesting especially in case 2. This show is really underrated. Guys I have to mention the OSTs and songs in a whole new paragraph. The OSTs and songs are damn good.
