Darkness lurks around us and shadows never leave us alone. We never know what darkness is really chasing afterwe or our shadows? We will when darkness catches us. That time we will realize what darkness is really after. We are living beings we have some value in our lives right? So we have to run or stand tall against the enemy. But we are the side characters. Thats why our only option is to run and wait for the main character to save us. Unless you become the main character or become Cid Kagenou and make your own monogatari it also has to be an Isekai or just watch The Eminence in Shadow. The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 is the second renewal of Nexus Studio which aired in a short break in fall 2023. Eminence in Shadow was adapted from the LN it also has a manga. It was one of the ten anticipated amines of that season 23. I mainly started this anime because of the trend and the popularity of season 2. Anyway this anime surprised me in many ways. The beginning was a little different from... I dont know I think from the classic Isekai or anime. For example in most anime the protagonist comes to the attention of others because of his or her power and ability. On the other hand the protagonist is the most powerful but still he is hiding his identity kind of like USA comic superheroes. By the way the intentions or motive behind this are quite different from theirs. My whole reason for saying all this was that I was really hooked and caught up with airing in a week of starting season 1. The Eminence in Shadow season 2 starts without wasting any time. The protagonists of The Eminence in Shadow Cid Kagenou and her sister Claire Kagenou came to a lawless city for some reason. During their stay the whole city was attacked by zombies or vampires. No it is more like everyone turning to vampires or zombies. The reason was The Red Moon. This staring arc has so much action for a 3episode arc. This arc was actually an introductory arc for the next or future arc. The most interesting thing in this arc was that whenever Cid helped or saved someone he saidRun if you value your life. The frenzy has begun. The moon is red. Were out of time. That was really funny. And another fun fact is that he took this pickup line from someone else when she saved him. Its so interesting and funny. AND the final fighting sequence of the first arc between Cid and the Vampire Queen was the best fight so far. The visuals animation and everything else were damn good and the BG made that even more epic. 500https://i.post.cc/52DmjpTQ/vlcsnap2023103122h57m17s919.png Spoilers ahead. In the beginning of the second arc there was someone who was planning to create a financial crisis by counterfeiting currency to get a certain person. This was a little confusing and questionable but I guessed the person behind it was Cid Kagenou. By the way his motive or anything wasnt very inspirational. But episode 6 when he left Alpha behind was really heartbreaking.500https://otakusinh.files.wordpress.com/2023/11/screenshot11082023123300.jpg Still he somehow cleared up his messes and the arc ended. There is another arc after this one but before the next arc they gave a fan service episode which was quite weird as a fan service episode. Seriously in the whole episode there is not a single sign of the protagonist Cid Kagenou. Overall this season is entertaining and enjoyable. In my final word I would say that Eminence in Shadow is a good Isekai and not a hard one to enjoy. So I recommend watching you guys. Thanks.
