Suppose I ordered my favorite food and then waited. After a certain time when it was served it looked so appetizing. Out of excitement I started to eat. First bite second bite third bite... As I ate more it tasted unpleasant I dont know why? I also dont know why why? It was not supposed to happen I only wanted to enjoy Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 then why? Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 the most anticipated anime of 2023 is produced by MAPPA. After season 1 and the movie people including me were so psyched for season 2. Because most of them read the manga after watching the anime who hadnt read yet and also know that it would be the best arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. The Gojo Past Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc are the two most entertaining and epic stories of Jujutsu Kaisen. Thats why the excitement and the waiting were on another level for every anime or Jujutsu Kaisen fan. But MAPPA destroyed everything. The animators legit gave their lives to give us a wonderful season really thankful to the animators but their all efforts were in vain only because of MAPPA it didnt reach to that level. As a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan I was waiting eagerly for season 2 because of the arcs. The Gojos Past Arc is one of the most important arcs of Jujutsu Kaisen. Gojo and Getos friendship the rivalry and the We are strongest to Im the strongest transformation are the focus of the arc. In other words without this very arc nothing wouldnt have happened. Secondly the Shibuya Incident Arc is an entertaining one. Top to bottom heavy action and the unique curse technique of others. This should be the best anime of the year. But... theres a big but. Thanks to MAPPA for all this mess. Lack of schedule management planning or direction cost this anime. The first arc of the season Gojos Past Arc was good enough but the one that suffered the most was Shibuya Incident Arc. Because of The inconsistency. They are using lite weighed stroke at the first and it was great initiative. But they dropped in the midway. And also the stroke was so light that it wasnt contrasting with the source manga at all. JJK creator Gege Akutamis art is different and the strokes are also heavy. Overall his style wasnt matching the season at all. As a result some epic shots like Gojos levitating Getos skull opening and Sukunas arrow were ruined. Everything is so candid. Even some fan art is better than the anime. The new 15fps motion. MAPPA tried a new motion which is to me really unnecessary and shows off. Normal season 1 or movie motion was adequate. They literally didnt need to use this motion. Another thing is that they introduced us to the 15fps motion but they didnt even give animators the proper time to perfect it. What a shithole The unfinished release includes one of the best fighting sequences Sukuna vs. Mahoraga and also one of the best manga chapters Thunderclap Part 2. MAPPA just made a joke about this. Due to their internal conflict they released the unfinished episode and I am not even kidding it was only 20 finished. This episode had the potential to be the eras best episode. Even the blueprints for this episode were really epic. You can check by yourself if you want to. Still this episode got 9.8/10 in IMDb just imagine what it would be if it were fully complete. Curse you MAPPA curse you. I wish they went bankrupt. The VAs done their best in every important moment. Like Junya Enoki Kenjirou Tsuda Asami Seto Nobunaga Shimazaki made the moments so realistic and heart aching. All emotions are hitting really hard. Guys if you think I am just criticizing too hard because of the MAPPAs inconsistency now you could say that the story and characters are so good. Right? Yeah the story and the characters are really good but I dont want to give credit to the MAPPA because they adapted from a manga that was created by Gege. So it is not right to give them credit for someone elses creation. MAPPA thought themselves some kind of big shot studio after making AOT which was initiated by Wit Studio Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 and the movie Chainsaw Man but they arent good from a C or D grade studio. MAPPA is itself an insult. They just played with every Jujutsu Kaisen fans expectations as a demotion. I dont know why people...? Anyway thank you for reading my review.
