Seeing this having only one review as of date made me sad so Im contributing my thoughts about it. Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable feels like a comfort food. Maybe you feel sick maybe you are exhausted from your daily struggles. This is gonna help you can sit down get a small piece of trivia about Hokkaido some official glam/ecchi fanart of cute girls and a piece of a romantic plot that isnt intricate doesnt have much drama if any and drinks from the usual tropes of manga so nothing is particularly challenging to digest. Hokkaido The main thing you are gonna take away from it is the information about the region. Its everywhere from the food they have to the places they go Tsubasa is the straight man who is educated on Hokkaido for the audience and the covers will send more lore your way. Its the special bit from this series and even tho it doesnt carry it it gives you the urge to maybe make a trip someday. The Gals and the visual candy The other pillar of the series is the female characters you have a cast of fashion sensitive pretty girls that will feature a bunch of outfits for the visual pleasure. There is ecchi but its at the core of the series it doesnt hide it doesnt ruin the plot. You are here now if you dont like it we can call a taxi for you let me tell you about some cultural hokkaido reference while we wait for it. The Romance This lightweight attitude seems to bleed into the plot itself its one of people being bros the romance plot has a bit of harem to it but its mostly just for show. The conflicts arent forced or overplayed and the author doesnt seem interested in dragging anyone through the mud. Overall its a feelgood story thus elements that could be played for greater narrative spectacle are mostly muted this is the place for cuteness and sympathy which leaves a sweet taste in the buds even tho you can somewhat feel dissapointed if you expected an elevated state of emotion. Its a decent read specially if you are feeling iffy or down or with some time to kill. It wont change your life but youll come out slightly happier than when you got in which is a great compliment for any piece of media. Now into spoiler territory for those that NEED it
