Warning very vague spoilers ahead. Nothing extreme though you can read this and not ruin anything for yourself This manhua does way too much in way too little time at a very modest 40 chapters youre left with far more questions than answers. It ends at what I can only assume is supposed to be a cliffhanger or set up for a future session but Id wager this was cancelled and if it isnt it certainly isnt good enough for anyone to want to translate the rest of it. The main character is the star of the show to the detriment of the story and I mean that. The main character gets 90 of the screen time but zero real character progression the main character interruptus many fights to save the day and basically spams a very boring super power to end most fights very one sidedly. Its painfully uncreative its not even drawn Im an appealing way either so not only is uncreative from a writing standpoint but an artistic one as well. The girls are cute Ill give the author that. They even try and flesh out the sisters love interest on the side which Im not really used too in these stories they usually try and make a bit of an incest triangle in these stories and while thats hot and all its very tired. So seeing the sister get her own story she love interest is a welcome change of pace but unfortunately it only appears in like 4 chapters total and mainly near the end of the season. The art leaves a lot to be desired on all fronts as well the super powers arent the only boring things about it. The character designs are atrocious like super chuuni Middle School fanfiction type stuff tbh. That being said the story isnt supremely offensive or anything. Its just so mid and they tried to rush way too much stuff. The chapters are very short and can be read in just a few minutes a lot of the speech bubble between the lore dumps are exaggerated wanking of the main characters as well as the nonsense named attacks being shouted randomly. The more interesting premise of this story was the idea of the demon hunter school but this short lived and you only really spend like 8 chapters directly interacting with anyone that isnt the main cast I can not tell if this is Editor meddling or what? It all seems so out of left field and inherently detrimental to any interesting stuff that could happen. It just feels like a semi interesting premise was green lit without any actual planning on what to do in the story. Its chaotic rapid fire and yet so very middling. Its just middling. TLDR: its really amateur and aimless and clearly has no idea what to do with itself. If you want something to read before bed this will help you get the best sleep of your life 4/10
