And we can never know what was really back then what were their accomplishments what were their failures. But what if a person still lives who has witnessed everything A person who witnessed the history tale myth legend the whole cycle until the present. So if that person really lives what his/her is life now what he/she had experienced through time Time was passing people die everyone leaving him/her behind. Again new companion joins and changes but the journey of Frieren keeps continuing. Thats why this shows name perfectly fit. They initially announced the series as a 12 episodes season but out of the popularity story and everything they renounced and raised the episode count 12 to 28 episodes. I like to give them a salute for that because in recent time most of the studios give 12episode season whenever the show gets popular wither it is okay for the story or not. Studios are keep releasing seasons after seasons for greater profits. As a result the time period become a big burden here for the fans. Hmm... suppose some great manga begin adapted by some wanabe big shot studios and as result we fans suffer. Thats why I really admire their decisions and initiatives. Frierens Regret Regret a huge word more simplifying a natural consequence of a human life. Humans are really greed begin to begin with in my point of view they wont be satisfied with anything even if they found El Dorado. And I am also saying that without this quality I dont think human race would have survived this far and improved this much. So regret works like kind of a fuel to keep us moving. This is how human or reallife work so why Frieren would be any different. She might be an emotionless elf who life span isnt like human. This how I want to describe and represent the Frierens Regret to everyone. Now start from the summit the season started on September 29 23 by releasing a pack of 4 episodes. And I would say that the first 4 episode was like a base for the first half of the season. Thats why the opening was little slow and tough one to digest for many viewers but those episodes are one of reasons that people really loved this series a lot obviously expect of the haters. The historic party of hero Himmel Warrior Eisen Priest Heiter and mage Frieren who defeated through demon lord. After defeating the demon lord and achieving everything they are disbanding the party on the day of a meteor shower that happens every 50 years. There Frieren said that Next time Ill take you guys to a place from where meteor shower can be seen more clearly. In the reply Himmel laughed and said I am looking forward to that. Comes to the regret what mention in a whole paragraph like i said this first 4 episode was like a based and this base leaves a high note on you by the Himmels Death where for the first time Frieren experiences regret. This is first time where we see her regretting about something. As an elf who lives for thousands of years have no concept of human feeling because of their life span and roaming aimlessly for centuries had her first encounter of something that she never faced or try to understand human feelings is what is the one of the major developments of the opening episodes. Something I really want to mention Leaving our marks behind that we were not taleHumans are mortal but their deeds are immortal. Its a really popular proverb. I think everyone known about this proverb at least different versions of this. In Frieren: Beyond Journeys End they interpreted that which perfectly fit with the story and also fill the depth of the characters Frieren. When Frieren was with Himmel and his party Himmel usually took a lot of time creating his statue whenever he got free time. One day Frieren and others were conversing about something while Himmel He was also a narcissist for information was busy making pose for the statue at some point a question arose that and Himmel have to answer that why he always done that. He replied that he was leaving something their marks behind of what they done and what their journey was like that far. Then Frieren asked why? people will forget us in sometime future. In the reply Himmel said I am leaving something behind as prove that we are not tale. The whole sequence and the dialogues and dialogue selection was too damm good. Eternal love Mirrored Lotus Probably in the episode 14 not sure no wait its episode 17 for sure. One of my favorites of the show. Mirrored Lotus a symbol of love which remains to the end of the life. Really romantic type feeling but if we are talking about Himmel and Frieren it has to be Ultra Romantic and it was. Episode started with Ferns pout phase and ends on the high note where Himmel proposed Frieren in the middle of a road. The second part of the season the mage exam arc new characters actions another elf Flammes back story their revolution everything too much talk. There nothing to watches if say everything so watch the rest by yourself. milet Yoasobi everyone done great job.
