1. Cinderella Nothings wrong with this episode I just honestly do not get it. I dont get the doll thing it just in general does not make since. I see the references to Cinderella in the theming and story elements but what it adds is not really anything new. I do not think this was the best episode to have as the first although its a classic that everyone knows this is not the best adaptation of it. 2. Little Red Riding Hood So gory for what? This episode was basically just gore with a few pieces of story mixed in along the way. The idea of the story was a little interesting but the gore made me feel physically sick I watched this while eating. I can see how some people could like it people that enjoy really dark and gory anime like Elfen Lied may like this but if it is gonna have gore I need a little bit more story to make it a little more palatable. It was kind of interesting that even though it was VERY different from the original most of the man plot points were still there. 3. Hansel and Gretel The best one in the whole show. Honestly I was so invested in it. The part right before the ending was kind of meh but it was overall really solid. The story felt way more cohesive than the stories from any other episode. It kept me guessing throughout the whole runtime of the episode even after the twist was revealed. Is this really the truth I thought throughout the show as the characters were presented with new information. This one probably resembled the original story the least out of all of them it had the twins and the breadcrumbs in a way but that is all I picked up on. 4. The Elves and the Shoe Maker Dont ask me what this was about cause I have no idea the first half or quarter was pretty good but I still had questions. But the last half or quarter was so confusing and I dont understand anything that happened honestly. It follows the original in a way but it gets derailed and becomes FAR away from the tracks. Nothing is wrong with the episode just honestly non understandable. 5. The Town Musicians of Bremen I see potential in this one I feel like most people would like it for its setting and character I think it could easily make a full show its just not for me. Im just not super into action or westerns and the story was just kind of forgettable. It also doesnt help that I have no idea what story this is supposed to be based on. 6. Pied Piper of Hamelin Honestly this one is such a shame if it wasnt for that creep this episode would probably be a at least. Other than the creep the only other problem I had with this episode was the ending it didnt make much since. But I LOVED the world in this one the setting was perfect. This is the only one other than maybe Hansel and Gretel that had a setting that I felt fit the story. I also dont know what this one is based on so I couldnt say if maybe the parts I dont like are from the original story.
