DUNGEON MESHI REVIEW SPOILERS https://i.ur.com/zS64Rk2.jpeg 1 CONNECTION WITH DD FICTION Dungeon Meshi is an anime adaptation written with a scenario similar to the fiction of the board game called Dungeons and Dragons which is perhaps a childhood adventure of many of us. Of course even if I explain it this way it actually seems like it are parodies of this fiction. Although the original of the series comes from the manga its actual fictional structure dates back to ancient times. We see a similar fiction designed with dungeons races and many kinds of monsters in Dungeon Meshi. This connection is already based on DD fiction. However it would not be wrong to say that it is not a copy and has a style that different it. 2 ADVENTURE PROCESSING It is very interesting that the anime which seems like a simple clich adventure anime from a distance turns out to be a unique work when you delve deeper and lose your prejudices. Dungeon Meshi takes the adventure experience to the next level by advancing in each episode and placing its characters in many strange different and interesting events. Thats why Dungeon Meshis adventure is both rich and deep. Since I was able to experience the quality of adventure in Dungeon Meshi that I cannot see even in the most popular fantasy anime I can call Dungeon Meshi a special adventure anime. I think that the adventure is handled wonderfully in this anime where many changes occur both physically and spiritually. 3 CHARACTERS Even if the characters dont have great writing in terms of depth the cast actually gets better in terms of entertainment and since they can show their psychology in a brave and realistic way at times and also get development on top of that. Among the fictional works that progress with teams of four the most consistent balanced and entertaining team I have seen may be the team of four in Dungeon Meshi. Laios Marcille Childchuck and Senshi are an incredible foursome. Each of them compensates for the shortcomings of the other members and gives us the feeling of a harmonious team. However I actually didnt like Izutsumi very much. Still I started to get used to it with each episode. Other characters also fill their supporting roles. 4 LOGIC OF DUNGEON How many manga and anime have you encountered that feel like a video game? Moreover how many fictional series have you experience who can make feel alive? Frankly Dungeon Meshi does both perfectly. The interior of the dungeon both resembles the understanding of nature in real life and creates its imaginary style with the concept of returning from death. We see an addition in a fictional sense. This addition return from death and this is one of the basic rules of the dungeon. It has actually become a routine for adventurers to die while in dungeons but of course they do not automatically regenerate they must have a wise dwarf elf or something like that with them who knows the healing spell. In addition the importance given to the dungeon increases by setting four or five more rules on how the dungeon process works. In anime they generally make the length and width of dungeons and pits larger but they do not fill them. They take the easy way out and design the dungeon as soulless and empty. In Dungeon Meshi both monsters and places have a soul. They are literally alive and every person who enters the dungeon can feel this to the fullest. Although it was perhaps a weak series in terms of its power system it managed to make itself watched thanks to being a great work in terms of dungeons. The fact that the dungeon was designed so well allowed the anime to have one of the best anime universes. 5 MEALS Weve come to the part where if I dont mention it I definitely wont be able to sleep comfortably. I dont know about you viewers but this is the first time Ive seen an anime where strange dishes are integrated into a series so harmoniously. I dont know who first thought of the concept of cooking from monsters but it is admirable that the Dungeon Meshi author saw this and blended it into such a series with his impressive imagination. I really liked how the dirtylooking monsters turned into such beautifullooking dishes after various applications and our heroes ate them with pleasure. 6 VISUALLY Another good thing I can praise about this anime is its unique art style and coloring which can be cartoony eyepleasing and funny. In this way it reveals that it is a quality work not only in terms of story but also in artistic terms. Both background and character designs are really interesting. 7 GENRES In Dungeon Meshi we see a great combination of Adventure Comedy Fantasy Thriller genres cooking and psychological themes. Although some viewers may not like the fact that the first half is more about cooking and the second half is not I do not think so. I think it was a perfect transition. Moreover cooking events are still continuing. Dungeon Meshi has a wide variety of genre combinations and an impressive narrative that can make you tense whenever you want make you laugh when you want or make you sad when you want. In each new episode the characters confront the strange situations they find themselves in providing us the audience with a nice tension and comedy and the progression of the cooking theme that comes into play when they solve the problem is welladjusted. Ive mentioned animes adventure before. Extremely successful. https://dnm.nflx.net/api/v6/2DuQlx0fM4wd1nzqm5BFBi6ILa8/AAAAQa10jnc9HBZnANnmp8MIHDkLOIjxOfIb8wmUl7WYwIfxHRCXkfb2Qamctr3XgQ5SnZ2hXvs7UTrr9e3FDM4rL8KcKInxYi0SX9IXfYbyVeOKePx4DicfOBwh3UN1bB8vtCEMOozFXaX9T9EsF.jpg?r=cff OVERALL RATING : 875/10 SEASON ONE
