If you want to read an excellent series that explores deep moral questions and ideas you have picked the right one. The series is gorgeously illustrated the characters are unique and their gifts and philosophies are incredibly creative. You never quite know what will happen next the plot is merciless the stakes keep rising and the odds are stacked high against our protagonists. Even so there is hope. There is more need for this kind of story today than ever before. MAOH: Juvenile Remix is the story of the journey of isolated bystanders who are moved to become actors and from private to public opposition. It is the story of the inconsistent power of words to change lives to change minds and to change the institution and the government. It is a story of the bleakest revolutions. It is a story of grief anger loss and distance between strangers. Ando has hidden his abilities or used them only in a humorous fashion as a joke from an early age. Once ignorant and apathetic to the politics of the wider world Ando is rudely awakened to the injustice in society around him and disturbed by his peers blithe acceptance of it. Disgusted by his own reluctance to act he becomes determined to do something about it. He will stop hiding and use his mysterious ventriloquist power to use others as his own mouthpiece to stop the rise of a local Grasshopper gang leader the incredibly charasmatic Inukai and oppose him from the shadows. Although Andos power of words is limited and weak so he does not stand a chance in a facetoface battle with the dictator head on he becomes increasingly desperate to wield his powers influence for real justice. On the way he will meet fighters and assassins. Its a race for survival. Can he prevail without getting himself killed or endangering his family his beloved happygolucky brother Junya? What will Inukai go to stop him? How far can Ando go and what does he have the power to change when he fully embraces his abilities? What is the cost?
