This anime is a fascinating graphic universe with a very childish but enticing drawing which gives a incredible charm to it. The colors are vivid and the art is present in several scenes described through metaphors of psychedelic images. These artistic choices try to translate emotions into a maelstrom of symboles and colors rather than in the atmosphere of the scenes and dialogues. The music reproduce well this relaxing atmosphere which seems to characterize the rhythm of this semisliceoflife story whose still have a clear developpement. The opening and the endings are very beautiful and relaxing. They express well the particular charm of the anime. The story follows the development of a girl Erin born in a village where people raise reptilian creatures called Touda. She is fascinated by the world. We follow her story through several moments of her life: from her first years in the village of Toudas to her adoption and new life with a retired teacher in the mountains near the bees continuing by entering Kazalm a school who teach how to rear creatures called Lord of the Beast where she will eventually becomes a teacher herself. She becomes friends with one of these creatures said indomitable. From that moment she begins to wonder about the imperatives that she is obliged to follow in the rearing of these creatures she defies the codes she questions the received ideas she tries to create her own road even if everyone say otherwise. Her apparence her calm character her natural intelligence ... all in the construction of her character makes her a fascinating character that we want to follow. The other characters who will cross her road are well constructed too. Just as fascinating in their own way with their own story their developpement their past and their beliefs. There is no black or white just shades of gray and people trying to create common sense in the middle of all of this. This world is shaken by political tensions and wars that raise questions confront points of view and force progressively Erin to enter a conflict into which she did not expect to have to take part in. In conclusion a beautiful beautifully constructed anime that I highly recommend. Ps : I hope that my english is readable.
