Kekko Kamen I hide my face but expose all else Kekko Kamen To anylize the deep meaning of this anime i need to divide the story in four arcs otherwhise i wil get confused by the complexity of it. warning: nsfw pics The nazi arc First part This one is really easy but: Its the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary. Gerry Scotti By the start of the episode we can see the students doing a math exam in the middle of a baseball field tipical location for school exams in Japan everyone seems like to have a lot of pressure our main character Mayumi Takahashi suddendly falls asleep because of the many nights spent studying and is sent to the torture chamber where she receive humiliating punishments from a nazi girl until Kekko Kamen manage to save her. What do we understand from that? That japanese society is merciless failure is not part of it you need to be perfect. When you fail you are considered useless a reject of society and for that you need to be punished. Second part Mayumi get caught by the nazis and she is put naked in a rotating swastika in front of all the students and our hero Kekko Kamen manage to save her again after an epic fight with the nazi girl. A swastika.... for sure is a strong symbol. What does it mean that swastika? It means that kids are too easy to manipulate lets think about it while Mayumi was getting humiliated in the rotating swastika some students did something to save her? NO. NO ONE. And why? Because after many years of living in that sick society they accepted what it became what they became and what they are and they think they deserve to be punished in that brutal way they dont even ask why anymore. The pedo gym instructor arc The gym instructor is a prominent figure in every school every kid trust him he is in direct contact with correct physical and sexual development of his students. BUT WHAT DID HE DO? He betrayed the trust of Mayumi and he used her as a trap to fight vs. Kekko Kamen. What do we learn from that? That as said before Japanese society is merciless you cant trust anyone even in an hypothetical safe ambient like your school. Dont accept candies from the strangers stay safe kids. The terminator arc This one is too deep for me. The samurai arc A samurai who cuts girls clothes with his katana and take photos of their naked body and in his free time he likes to take beautiful mesmerazing pics of nature such as: birds water falling sky... What does it mean? The samurai in this arc represents the old view of the world basically an old guy point of view. He consider the naked body of those young girls the same as watching a bird flying a tree growing an ant trying to reach his burrow basically just a part of the nature. What do we learn from that? What is the samurai trying to say? The samurai is inviting the viewers to not be ashemed of themselves their body their sexuality he invites us to explore our own one without preconceptions without watching at others to determine our own one. Beautiful just beautiful.
