Story: 99/100 This series is a Shounen with some slight SoL and some Drama The story focuses on Kei Yonagi a girl that was recruited to become an actor. There are many short arcs and a few longer arcs within the manga. Each and every arc is important. Each arc fleshed out characters their motives and it made everyone especially the MC grow in some way shape or form. There were some small filler arcs but even those arcs were used to flesh out the MC and make her learn or experience something that she hadnt before. Each chapter leaves you wanting more. The way the story is written makes you want to cheer on the MC and some of the side characters on. You want them to succeed. You want them to push the boundaries and create their best performance yet. The reason I give the story a 99 instead of a 100 is because this manga will most likely never be completed. There are a few ways it can be but it is unlikely. If you hate cliffhangers and never being able to finish the series with a burning passion then you will not want to start it. Where it left off was right at the beginning of what can be considered a major arc. Art: 100 This manga was the artists debut and she nailed it. When needed she could express the characters emotions so clearly and in clean but messy detail. The art quality especially the close ups improved overtime as the artist grasps the characters designs more. You could feel the emotions radiating from the characters when they were acting. Since this is in 2D and just a drawing the artist pulled off emotion really well. You could feel it. You could feel yourself there watching them as they acted. While I am not the best with names in manga I always appreciate clear distinct character designs so I can put names to faces. Characters: 100 Impressive. Every single character that has a presence within the manga for a couple of chapters or more is fleshed out to some degree. Ambitions motives goals thoughts etc They are all well written. Each character clearly has a set goal or ambition and by the end of the arc it is fulfilled or some headway has been made. No character is complete. They are always evolving or still working towards a goal. Overall score: 99 If you hate the author for what he has done and will not read this I completely understand. If you hate axed series or cliffhangers I understand that too. Id still urge people to try and read. Disconnected the author of the work. It was a beautiful manga that had a lot of potential. Hopefully they can somehow continue this series with or without the author.
