SOME SPOILER WARNINGS I plan on rereading this and finally completing it but honestly this comic is so lovely and cute. As an mlm myself I think it really maneuvers around the logistics of the main characters being together in a conservative atmosphere but maintaining a positive attitude. It really resonates when theres this realistic side to a BL comic but having it still resonate in a positive way is very refreshing. The side characters are also lovely and the art is unique and super cute. I think its refreshing how the second season has another love story with the established main couple sort of stepping in to help. As a side note I think its funny how many people probably like Seungwon more than Heesu but to me Heesu is just so so so adorable. I highly recommend this I binged most of it almost immediately. Its pretty easy to do so to be honest and if youre looking for a refreshing and happy BL then this is definitely good. I dont want to give too much away but I think the only sort of issue I might have with it is how the beginning didnt really have much of Chanyoungs presence as much as it did Heesus near obsession with him. Luckily though we got to see the process of Heesu learning more about himself and getting closer to Seungwon. Also I was a little confused about the timeline and who occupied the house next to Heesus at what time but that might just be on me. Another thing Id like to appreciate is the excitement that some of the secretkeeping led to. Like you would figure things would work out but it was still a bit thrilling to see how the story progressed and how the characters interacted. I also really like Jiyu shes very understanding and supportive but not the typical girl who wants a gay best friend or seems to fetishize gay relationships. One of the other potentially LGBTQ relationships a wlw one wasnt more explored so I wish maybe that would also be a focus but it is still refreshing to see that the author did not want to simply focus in on a malemale relationship given this interaction and also Seungwons moms whom I absolutely adore and whose role in Heesus identity finding I found to be very sweet. Once again I am glad that the author wrote this BL with a realistic and happier approach one that was somewhat believable but also not too dark for Koreas standards on LGBTQ relationships. A 10/10 for me Sadly it wont let me write a review unless its super super long so here I am to promote my favorite groups. Make sure to listen to Stray Kids NCT LOONA and Red Velvet.
