After leaving Studio Junio he became a freelancer and often works with Studio Sunrise and GONZO. In 2008 him and former GONZO producer Ikeda Touyo founded Encourage Films Co. Ltd with a capital of 5 million yen. Ikeda Touyo would serve as the representative director and president of Encourage Films. With the death of Ikeda Touyo on February 17 2013 he was appointed as the representative director and CEO of Encourage Films.
