Ayaka was born in Saitama Prefecture but moved to Tokyo after kindergarten. She became part of a theater company in elementary school and appeared in commercials stage productions and TV dramas. After receiving some voice acting lessons in the company she realized that she wanted to become a voice actress. She got scouted in 2011 by Horipro and began her career. In August 2014 she debuted as a singer with her single YES which was used as the opening theme for the anime Sabagebu. Her hobbies includes karaoke as well as watching anime drumming browsing the internet gaming watching sports and reading light novels. She had drumming skills prior to joining the Bang Dream franchise. Ayaka loves heavy metal and shares her love together with her mother who used to sing Marilyn Mansons songs for her as lullabies.
