Ozawa Satoru was born February 3 1936 in Kawaguchi Saitama Prefecture Japan and lives currently in Hakodate Hokkaido. He is a mangaka best known for creating several series centered around submarines a first in the manga world including his 1963 debut work Submarine 707 and Blue Submarine No.6 another series he created in the 60s which both were adapted into anime.
