Jin Fuzai is notable for his longtime collaboration with Shanghai Animation Film Studio as he has composed soundtracks for many of their titles. He has also composed music for liveaction films and theatre and received several awards for his works. In recent years he has focused on teaching music and performance working as the dean of the Department of Musical at Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
