Youichi Tsukahara is a Japanese mangaka born in Yokohama City Kanagawa Prefecture. After working at Shimoda Elementary School in Yokohama City Hiyoshidai Junior High School in Yokohama City and Salesio Gakuin High School he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering Faculty of Engineering Tokai University .
In 1986 his work Goodbye Season was selected for Tetsuya Chiba Award. In 1987 he made his serial debut.
