Yeong-Hee Lim

Born in South Korea Lim YeongHee has lived in France since 1988. Today she is an author and translator. She has written several childrens books and translated many novels for adults including Kim YoungHas Empire of Lights and Kim Takhwans Murderous Novels. Lim directs the Korean collection for Philippe Picquier and the French collection for a Korean publishing house JaeumMoeum in Seoul. She feels a real vocation to mediate between these two cultures. Passionate about general literature but especially about novels and tales for children she wants to develop the diffusion of Korean works in France and she takes pleasure in writing novels and tales for young people in French inspired by Korean popular legends.
