Saho Sasazawa

Sasazawa Saho November 15 1930 October 21 2002 was a Japanese author known as the creator of the Kogarashi Monjirou novels which became a hit televised drama series. He was a selfdeclared member of the shinhonkakuha ja or new orthodox school of detective fiction writing. Aside from mysteries he also wrote thrillers essays and history books with some 380 books to his credit.
