Yuki Ooshima is a Japanese freelance toy designer and occasional manga artist and writer. Hes designed various figurines for Takaras Transformers lines and wrote two different manga series for the franchise. Prior to his official work on the franchise he published several Transformers doujinshi including a crossover between the brand and Machine Robo. His art is characterized by its high level of mechanical detail as well as drawing Transformers based directly on their toys with great accuracy. This eventually led to him doing toy design work for Masterpiece Transformers. In constrast his humans are mostly bishoujo and loli characters. From 1999 he started working as a freelancer in charge of figure prototype production at Kaiyodo. Widely recognized as the sculptor for Takaras Rikavine 2003 and the weekly magazine Weekly Watashi no Oniichan 2004 . In 2005 he was in charge of producing the figure ShinYokohama Alina attached to the official catalog of the exhibition Otaku: Personality = Space = City cf. Kaichiro Morikawa at the Japan Pavilion of the Venice Biennale. He also drew a catalog cover illustration for Comic Market 2006 summer Wonder Festival official goods Wondachan Loves EVANGELION.
