I started seriously drawing manga art from my second year of middle school. Hiro Fujiwara is a Japanese manga artist. She was once active under the pen name Hiro Izumi at the end of the 1990s but she abandoned the name after she won the Best Rookie award in the LMS for Kaeri Michi Yuki no Netsu. Her first series Kaichou wa Maidsama was serialized in Hakusenshas monthly shoujo manga magazine LaLa. It was licensed in English first by Tokyopop and later by Viz Media and adapted into an anime television series in 2010.
