Mitsuda Takuya born June 17 1965 is a manga artist born in Fukuyama City Hiroshima Prefecture Japan. He has published his works primarily in Shogakukans manga magazine Shounen Sunday.
He is best known for his longrunning baseball manga Major for which he won the Shogakukan Manga Award in 1996 in the shounen category. He apprenticed under Hidenori Hara alongside Shinobu Inokuma and his former assistants include Shun Matsuena and for two days Kouji Kumeta.
Mitsuda debuted in 1982 winning the Shogakukan Newcomers Award for Banyuu.
