My gateway into things that were animeesque was Voltron: Legendary Defender back in middle school Im that one guy who actually liked seasons 7 8 lol. Then in 2019 I watched Avatar: the Last Airbender yeah thats right. I watched it a year BEFORE it got its 2nd wave of popularity on netflix in 2020. Uptop fellaz. The first anime I ever properly watched was the Star Wars Visions anthology 2021. 2022 was the year I went welp guess Im a weeb now. Watched Evangelion in May of that year and the rest is history. So much anime to watch so little time college getting a job driving planning your goals scheduling all that life stuff. Anyways Im a mecha and action guy though Im down for slice of life stuff too. In general I treat anime like anything else. In the end I dont really care about genre or whatever. Im willing to keep exploring as openmindedness is a virtue.
