Pio // 22 // she/her Moved from MAL since anilist is easier for tracking progression. Current rule of thumb for me is I review something after Ive completed a series if I feel compelled to review it. Reviews are joint posted on MAL but my lists on here are more up to date. I tend to start and stop certain shows just whenever because Im still a student and have things to do so my watch history is a bit all over the place. How I currently score reviews as of August 2020: My rubric consists of five categories theyre the same as the ones used for MAL reviews story character art sound and enjoyment. I weigh the quality of story art sound and character individually and then enjoyment is graded in relation to the other categories and is otherwise subjective. My enjoyment of something can propel a score keep that in mind. The average of those scores becomes the general score and the number that appears on my list. Scores are subject to change if rewatched. Scoring is as follows: 10 Excellent 9 Great 8 Very Good 7 Good 6 Fine 5 Okay 4 Bad 3 Really Bad 2 Awful 1 Horrible not worth watching at all Consider anything with an overall score of 10 to be something that entirely aligns with my personal taste. Generally its considered a solid 9 across the board though. I recommend anything on my list thats a 7 and above Anything I consider to be a 5 or below I usually dont finish since it would be a waste of time otherwise.
