Some days ago I was nominated by Morbidityhttps://anilist.co/user/Morbidity/ to share my list of top 5 anime openings. This turned out an impossible task for me. I spent my week going on a feels trip by rewatching hundreds of openings and in the end I somehow managed to reduce the list to 20. Limiting myself to a single OP per anime and artist helped a lot. You cant not get hyped after seeing that explosion of color and hearing that track. Speed to Masatsu by amazarashihttps://track3.mixtape.moe/gjvgrf. Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplacehttps://anilist.co/anime/21189/RanpoKitanGameofLaplace/ amazarashi Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhoodhttps://anilist.co/anime/5114/HaganenoRenkinjutsushiFullmetalAlchemist/ FMAB has many great openings but the first one is by far the best one. Its perfect. Out of Control by Nothings Carved in Stonehttps://aww.moe/3z4q9f. PsychoPasshttps://anilist.co/anime/13601/PsychoPass/ Im a sucker for stylized openings which are filled with symbolism and themes of the show. This is one of them. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIGhttps://anilist.co/anime/801/KoukakuKidoutaiStandAloneComplex2ndGIG/ It does not happen often when you here a different language in an anime opening song other than Japanese and English and most of the time its a nice change of pace. ACCA: 13ku Kansatsukahttps://anilist.co/anime/21823/ACCA13kuKansatsuka/ Lets go come on come on on a journey ebb and flow by Rayhttps://track3.mixtape.moe/wakhkc. Bleach was the first anime I watched with an intention to watch anime. Next two openings arent impressive in terms of visuals yet they are so captivating.
