Hokuou Joshi Åsa ga Mitsuketa Nihon no Fushigi

In 2011, Swedish comics artist and illustrator Åsa Ekström moved to Japan to try to establish herself as a comics creator in the native land of manga. After many years of hard labor, she broke through with a web diary in comic form, which quickly grew enormously popular. In a series of short, humorous, and insightful comic strips, Åsa touches upon many of Japan's wonderful, different, and sometimes inscrutable facets, as they may be experienced from the perspective of a Westerner.
