Gabriel Dropout certainly isnt a show to be taken seriously but that doesnt stop it from being hilarious as thats what it aims to be lots and lots of comedy acts watching angels and demons trying to live out their lives in the human realm while trying to redeem their demonic and angelic values which doesnt really go to plan. The two angels end up living more demonic lifestyles whereas the two demons end up living more angelic lifestyles. Then the show itself is called Gabriel Dropout named after Gabriel the angel that has a massive fall from grace due to her video game addiction. She graduates from the heaven school or whatever its called as the top student and comes to live in the world of humans but falls from grace very quickly once she finds out about her love and addiction for MMOs. The show mainly consists of the four girls trying to live out their normal daily lives in the human world without standing out as being different which for the most part they do. Satania is definitely the victim of this show as she is constantly abused and bullied in a comical way by the girls and fate itself at times it felt like. I wont say its an uninteresting show since it still makes me smile and laugh at times but looking at it on a bigger picture then Gabriel Dropout is a very average show I can say I watched it but did anything stand out to me? No it didnt so its an enjoyable watch but nothing more than that it doesnt leave me with anything to remember the anime for and doesnt really have any rewatchability either. The anime definitely serves as an enjoyable watch if youre looking for comedy but since Im more a fan of anime that has a deeper meaning in the long run Gabriel Dropout is just an average anime to me and not one I see myself remembering in the future Ill remember it as the show with two angels/demons but thats it. Now as per tradition since there is a cast of four cute girls I should have my say on my favorite and this time I gotta give it to Vignette. If I had to pick the best girl from the show then I would pick Vignette for her kindhearted and innocent attitude towards anything and anyone. Sadly since its not really a memorable show to me I dont have enough interest to actually care for any of the girls but if I had to pick then Vignette definitely. On the whole thats Gabriel Dropout for me honestly nothing too special but not a bad show either just very average is how I can describe it best. It may be worth it for the gags and laughter but normally this isnt the kind of anime I would see myself watching normally I want anime with a more deeper meaning behind its writing and Gabriel Dropout just didnt offer that to me. Normally Im a huge fan of slice of life anime but this one just didnt resonate with me so it may be an anime for others but just not me.
