SPOILERS BEWARE The second movie of the side movie franchise for MHA seemed like a side story rather than an actual sequel when I watched the first movie I thought it would play some sort of role in the anime but even after finishing S4 this still wasnt the case same can be said about this movie its essentially filler for MHA fans and I certainly am not complaining but this movie actually did something that the anime never has so I will get right to the point. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/952312971776917564/unknown.png The biggest incident in the movie is without a doubt the One for All transfer to Bakugo which made me start asking a lot of questions about the future of this series however fast forward a few minutes and those doubts are cleared as the power wasnt transferred since Bakugo fell unconscious before the procedure was finished but that didnt stop him from using All Mights power to fight against Nine huh? I suppose this felt like plot armor for Deku since if he lost his quirk then he would essentially become a useless character again as he was at the start of the series. I dont mind this plot armor but I know others may Im simply stating facts here as thats what it seemed like to me at least. Now as is the tradition with every major fight of this series the final battle against Nine is the climax of the movie and its spectacular accompanied by the incredible insert song from S4 Might+U which results in a pretty fantastic final scene that leaves me with goosebumps as well as beautifully orchestrated storytelling and spectacular animation. You cant really ask for any more from the final fight of this movie. Now as this series is a relatively light and happy series good will always prevail at the end so it follows the typical clich trend of happy endings which isnt bad of course since I would love this series either way. I guess the last thing I would like to mention would be that kids do their business once more Katsuma who is a young child definitely gets his emotions across heck it doesnt even need to be that special but once you add kids to the equation then youre already making your way to my heart involuntarily. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/952314943905071154/unknown.png I enjoyed this movie as I do every other content of MHA yet I dont really have that much to say on this movie its the same old series that I adore regardless how repetitive it is since it simply works. Seeing all the students cooperating with each other really warms my heart the whole class has really grown on me now so any content with any of the twenty students is enjoyable. Now this was the second movie of the franchise but it doesnt seem to tie in with the first at all as its more just a standalone movie with a side story that has the characters I love from this anime. I dont think this will tie in with S5 either in that regard which is why I believe its simply filler at the end of the day but I will happily watch any filler for this awesome series. Check out the movie if youre a fan of the series is all I will say since it offers essentially the same that you should expect from this anime now.
