SPOILERS BEWARE At this point in time after consuming so much MHA content I think I can give my most honest thoughts not only on this movie but regarding the whole series. After watching five seasons three movies and a few OVAs MHA has now become the longest series that Ive watched if were counting episode count and run time. Its also only one of few series that I have seen which has over 100 episodes since I mainly watch short and mid length shows. Even so after so many episodes and the fact that MHA is fundamentally the same over and over again at its core it still manages to bring me so much enjoyment. MHA at this point has solidified itself as an anime I can watch any day any time and any episode and I will simply enjoy it. I have reached the point where even seeing the characters in filler content is still fun to me. MHA may not be the best in its genre but its far from the worst and it has certainly captivated me for quite a long time now. At the end of the day it is just a generic shounen but it fascinates me even to this day and I wonder why I find it so appealing but I simply do. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/951127212491427840/unknown.png If I want to touch on the movie then there wont be much to say based on the above statement this is a fun enjoyable 1h40 for me of just standard MHA at this point. The plot isnt special but it exists we meet a new character Rody who gets some brief development throughout the movie however the issue with these movie series is the fact these characters will likely never appear in the main story. David and Melissa Shield havent appeared since the first movie of this series the kids from the 2nd havent ever and I bet it will the same for Rody and his siblings. Due to this the movies are essentially treated as a side series that contain the main cast of the show but are neither prequels or sequels as they are simply side stories which never get mentioned upon after. Well throughout this whole movie I was enjoying the animation since its beautiful and the final fight between Deku and Flect Turn was stunning. I even got to hear one my all time favorite OSTs being You Say Run during this fight so this was certainly a spectacle to witness. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/951128584179822682/unknown.png With that covered I have said practically what I wanted to say regarding MHA as a whole Ive written quite a few reviews for this series already so in summary across all of them I have practically covered exactly what I find appealing about this series. You can bet when new MHA content will be available then I will be right there to experience it ASAP since I adore this series. If there are going to be anymore movies for this side series then you bet I will be right there waiting and also I am awaiting S6 with anticipation as I find the story immersing and I can really get behind where its heading. Lastly MHA may not be for everyone since it can get repetitive after a while but for me this series is charming and I love watching every episode.
