I rate shows high because of how I personally enjoyed them. They are heavily biased I dont score shows through a lens of objective criticisms but rather personal experience. 6 and below I wouldnt recommend you watch these shows. Either a waste of time because of a bad plot or just not worth the energy and emotions youll invest. 7 Maybe youll enjoy these shows. I wouldnt say I didnt enjoy these but I probably wouldnt rewatch these. 8 I would recommend you give these shows a shot I had fun watching these. 9 I had a blast with these shows These are very enjoyable and I would highly recommend watching these 10 PERSONAL FAVORITES I could ramble for hours about why I love these shows. They may not be everyones cup of tea and they may not be flawlessly written but I had a great time with these. These shows really immersed me in its world whether it be a comedy or adventure these shows tied me into its narrative. These shows also have special places in my heart probably because I probably love a certain characters. Id watch these shows or clips of them for some nostalgia and to revisit the emotions I felt during the times I watched them. HOW I GOT INTO ANIME I watched Pokmon growing up on Cartoon Network. Back then I didnt really see it as anything different from the other cartoons I had watched. Years later I stumbled upon some episodes of Dragon Ball Kai on Nicktoons this is when I started really noticing differences compared to the other cartoons however I didnt really delve deeper. In middle school my cousin showed me Sword Art Online and this was the first time I watched an anime in the Japanese dub. I was caught off guard at first but I quickly got used to it and was fascinated by the exposition the show had set up. This was a turning point for me as I kept up with the weekly episode releases. When SAO had finished its first season I took my break from anime. A year later I stumbled upon Code Geass and for a long time this became my 1 all time favorite anime. This show sparked my growing curiosity for anime. Shortly after I started consistently watching anime in my first year of high school Hunter x Hunter 2011 being the first big show. I had met some friends online who introduced me to more anime and I explored more genres. Up until this point I had only watch actiondriven anime. One of the recommendations was Nisekoi and this show was eyeopening for me in the sense that I realized I loved the romanticcomedy genre. And since then Ive watched a lot of anime of all sorts of genres.
