10 = My personal favourites. Executed perfectly or near it. Mistakes fade away under the weight of the story being told. Ambitious moving thematically dense. Uses the medium in an interesting manner. Does it tell a story only anime could tell? All my 10s have this in common. 9= Superb. One or two small flaws. I really enjoyed this but for one reason or another theyre not my personal favourites. I try and keep my number of 10s as small as possible because I think that the 10 should be reserved for things that I personally adore in every way. That doesnt make 9s less good though. 8 = Very very good. Recommend to anyone and everyone. 7 = Competently executed and enjoyable plot. 6 = Competently executed maybe just slightly less good than a 7. 5 = Completely average. Unmemorable. 43 = This is not a good show. Waste of time. 2 = Genuinely awful. 1 = An affront to the viewer. Genuinely offensive. Should be banned in 50 states and Canada. For reviews I go down one. 10s are 90s 9s are 80s etc. I write things.
