Okay so I came out of the first episode of Nakanohito Genome thinking okay this is a fun little novelty light to decent 7 its kinda dumb but I like it. But this second episode has me SO fucking sold. This is like my favorite thing Ive watched all year no joke. Im dying over here. Just everything about this is so much up my alley silly death game type scenario that doesnt take itself all that seriously but does have a darker undertone at times very stylish tons of cute and kinda fruity guys and this narrative that just throws everything at the wall its all batshit insanity and it changes on the regular so even my short attention span does not get led astray. I love the surreal sense of humor all of the comedic bits are just delivered so well both in pacing and visuals and the ideas at play are so nutty all the time which is something I want in all anime honestly. If this stays on this trajectory and doesnt go to shit I could easily see it going straight on the favorites list. So yes I actually fucking adore this show. Go watch it if you havent and if what Ive described sounds like something youd like.
